The Colt is Crescent Farms’ 9 Hole executive golf course, measuring just over 1700 yards from the back tees. The wide Bermuda fairways accommodate all levels of golfers, beginners and seasoned veterans. It is the small greens that provide the challenge for all.
The Colt has six Par 3’s and three Par 4’s, not your typical Par-3 golf course. Some may think the Colt is easy based on the overall length, but don’t be fooled, there are plenty of features to test golfers of all skill levels. For example, the signature 6th hole requires an accurate approach shot to a small undulated green surrounded by water on two sides.
The Colt is great for beginners just getting started at golf, for juniors looking to get out and play a few holes with their teammates or friends, as well as the advanced player working on his or her short game. While some will only use irons, others will use every club in the bag. The Colt is perfect for a quick nine holes after work or a leisurely Sunday afternoon. Like the Stallion, the gently rolling terrain makes the Colt a perfect walking course as well.
