I play golf because of the personal challenge to improve, the camaraderie of friendly competitions with all the expected needling, for exercise, (I usually walk), and the natural fun of an outdoor activity in a beautiful pastoral setting.  Since 1989 I have found all that and more at my favorite course, Crescent Farms Golf Club.

One of the main benefits of being a member at Crescent Farms Golf Club is that it provides a friendly environment for my son Peter to practice for his high school golf team. It is only fifteen minutes from our home which makes it possible for him to practice after school. 

When I am not playing with my son it's very easy to find a group to play with on Saturday mornings.  It's nice in that the group plays a handicapped game which allows all skill levels to be involved. It's very exciting to see where the club will go under the new management team, Walters Golf Management.
